Location: Near L’Anse, Michigan

Silver Falls isn’t the most impressive waterfall in the U.P. but still has beauty and charm.

The trail to Silver Falls is an easy 5 minute walk through thick, mossy forest. From the parking area, travel up stream (the trail is on the left) to see the upper falls. The lower falls is a short distance downstream with multiple trails leading to them.

Getting There

From L’Anse, follow the main street northeast. After 1.2 miles, main street turns into Skanee Road. Continue straight.

After 5.9 miles, turn right onto Silver Falls Road. Continue for about 0.6 miles. Turn left at the fork for the parking area.
