I’m not sure if it’s just a Michigan thing but whenever we go anywhere we always look for the best place to see a sunset. And a place with water is where we always look first.
Lake Butte Overlook, located in Eastern Yellowstone, is the perfect place for a sunset. We were well above the water, which made the view seem to stretch for miles around. To top it all off, there were plenty of wildflowers growing along the edge of the overlook, making this a picture perfect place.
